Third graders are working on Robot Sculptures, using primarily recycled materials. What a great way to stress the importance of recycling and seeing the ways we can do just that in the art world.
If you have a third grade student, or just have some extra recycled materials laying around, feel free to send these with your students to school! We have started a large collection, but why not help recycle even more. You never know what we can make when creativity sparks!
**Cereal, granola, poptart, cracker boxes, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, small plastic containers, milk caps and soda tops - Nothing bigger than a gallon of milk please!**
Keep your eyes open for these recycled robots and be sure to ask your student how they made them.
